I'm focusing on a number of issues impacting our county

Picture
In the County Council’s next four-year term, we must:

 Make our County’s land-use laws stronger, to protect and preserve our historic streetscapes, our flooding watersheds, our neighborhoods and towns

 Pursue every possible local, state and federal resource to contribute to the comprehensive, watershed-wide plans we need to mitigate deadly flooding in old Ellicott City and elsewhere in District 1

 Site, fund and build new schools—where our kids are now

My top 3 priorities:

Protect Our Schools
Our schools are underfunded and overcrowded. We must fund smaller class sizes, and we must build new high schools #13 and #14 and the Turf Valley elementary. "Adequate" isn't good enough.
Control New Development
Our County's land-use law, policy and procedures reflect a government wholly co-opted by Developer interests, woefully underserving our public needs. That has to stop.
Serve the Public Good
Let's invest in cohesive plans for ample and affordable housing, for bikeways and green infrastructure, for small business corridors. Let's preserve our parks and trees. Let's do it.

Thank you!

Have you donated your $6 to My Campaign for One?
We won the primary race by just six votes. One, two, three, four, five, 6.
Doesn’t seem like a whole lot, but it sure did make a big difference. Same goes for your $6 contribution now.
